Meet the Author

Chris Watkins

I have worked with families and children for most of my life. Primarily, my sisters, going on to babysitting and then going on to become breastfeeding support, running a parent and toddler group and then making the move to Gloucestershire where I became a childminder, childcare on domestic premises and finally a Daycare owner! 

I have developed Playwork Inspired Learning over the last 10 years, using my own unique form of childcare and academic study to further enhance my approach.

I have a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and an MA in Professional Studies in Childrens Play.

By having both experience and academic study behind me, I know my approach inside out and feel it's time I share my knowledge to help you to help children.
